Martin Long

With over 35 years in the life science industry, I have led businesses that provide the industry with products, software, and services to accelerate the discovery, development, and manufacture of life-saving new medicines. At PV, I enjoy seeing employees learning and developing new business skills and taking on more responsibility to maximize their career potential and add customer value.

I currently live in Zionsville with my wife, three college kids and two mini schnauzers. I enjoy most outdoor activities that include food and cars, and just being with family and friends.

Martin joined PV in 2021 as the President and CEO and articulates the path forward for the business to create wealth for employee-owners.

Phil Burns

As the CFO for PV for over twenty-six years, I’ve enjoyed watching the company evolve into what it is today. With being PV’s longest tenured employee, I understand the culture more than anyone. I enjoy getting to know each employee to serve them better so they can do their job more efficiently.

Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge sports fan and all about family! I have two grandsons that I can’t get enough of.

Phil joined Performance Validation in 1996 after 13 years in various public and private accounting positions. During his tenure as CFO, Phil has been responsible for maintaining the relationship with the finance elements of our customers and providing training and support to PV’s Senior Management Team, Site Managers, Project Leaders, and staff.

One of my goals at Performance Validation is to bring on board talented professionals, who share an employee-owner mindset, and offer our clients peace of mind they have come to know and trust. The best outcomes start with people and relationships which drives my passion for finding employees who will help clients succeed. 

Reading, being outdoors, and spending time with my husband and children bring meaning and fulfillment to my life. 

Jolie joined Performance Validation in 2011 and oversees the human capital function, including talent management, total rewards, policies and practices, as well as growth and development.

John Underwood

With over 20 years of industry experience, I have been fortunate enough to experience all levels at PV. This allows me to mentor the team effectively and I enjoy seeing our Site Managers engage and build the necessary relationships with our clients. My top priority is to coach our SMEs to understand the client’s needs so the client feels comfortable and confident in our work.

In my free time, I like riding anything with two wheels, working on anything with a motor, fishing, and spending time with my family.

John joined Performance Validation in 1998 after serving six years in the U.S. Navy. During his tenure as Division Director of Michigan, John has provided services to the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industries. He has extensive experience in dry products, parenteral, facilities and utilities, API, and computer systems.

TIM O’NEILL

My number one goal as the Division Director is to be a true advocate for our clients and our team. Providing encouragement and mentorship to the team allows us to better serve our clients; to me, that’s a win-win. The teams we build provide the tools for our clients to have confidence in us that each system we touch is installed and operating correctly.

In my spare time, I enjoy going on weekend camping trips with the family in the summer and skiing trips in the winter.

Tim joined Performance Validation in 2021 as a part of the acquisition of Welsh Commissioning Group located in Auburn, Washington. Tim has extensive building commissioning experience with medical facilities, office buildings and high-rises, public schools, higher education, and secure facilities.

Brad Henry

With over 23 years of experience in the industry and at PV, I have delivered projects over a wide range of technologies. Through hard work and developing my career path here at PV, I have been able to work my way up from Division Director to Vice President in 2010. It is extremely rewarding to be able to support and mentor new team members as they begin to develop their own skillset and learn the validation and commissioning industry.

I currently live in Shelbyville with my wife, two daughters, our papillon Willow, our many cats, and even chickens from time to time. I enjoy being outdoors, camping, hiking, backpacking, and watching my girls’ sports teams. And as a native Wisconsinite, I am an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan.
